Sword Art Online: Alicization – 19

(Migime no Fuuin)
“The Seal of the Right Eye”

I didn’t think that they’d actually do it, but if Alicization has taught me anything, it’s that anything can happen in the Underworld.

General Impressions

After last week’s explosive ending (or rather, two weeks ago), I had an ominous feeling for what was coming this week. However, I never thought the story would make a full 180 and flip Alice and Eugeo’s roles. Looking back at it though, I suppose I shouldn’t have been as surprised as I was since it makes complete sense from the plot’s perspective. At this point, Kirito and Eugeo have been a totally undefeatable pair and there are way too many episodes left for them to reach the top of the tower this early. Along their way up the Central Cathedral, it’s clear that they’ve been able to influence the Integrity Knights they’ve encountered thus far and based on all of Kirito’s ramblings it sounds like they might have encountered a good chunk of all the knights that exist. So, what better way to change things up than have an Integrity Knight flip sides and have someone on team Kirito-Eugeo end up unable to fight? In hindsight I should have realized it sooner since I couldn’t have been the only one who was hoping that one of the knights would listen to reason and raise their weapons for Kirito and Eugeo’s cause. It didn’t necessarily have to be Alice, but it makes a lot of sense for it to be her. (Personally speaking, I thought it would have been cool to see Bercouli or the bow wielding knight to flip)

On the flip side of things, I also loved how the story finally addressed Eugeo’s insecurities. As someone who’s had no time to deal with such a wide range of thoughts and emotions, I was always really curious how we’d tackle Eugeo’s problems. Because if we’re being honest here, I think we’d all be a little pissed if Eugeo managed to save the world and rescue the damsel in distress without taking care of his own issues. Sure there’s something to be said about how nasty the Administrator is for using all of his insecurities against him, but here’s to me hoping that it all becomes a great learning experience for him.

Dang, what an episode! With that status quo changing and the stakes rising even higher, it looks like Kirito and Alice will have a lot to deal with now that the Administrator is awake and has Eugeo under her control. Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to see what’ll happen since everyone seems to all be relatively close to one another. In any case, I’ll catch you guys next week where we hopefully won’t get thrown back to the real world since I’m too invested in the main story. See you then!

If this was Kirito, he would quickly stab the woman as Kirito could sense a Yandere Asuna is watching him. https://images.randomc.net/Sword%20Art%20Online/Sword%20Art%20Online%20Alicization%20-%2019%20-%20Large%2026.jpgActually hope they make a hentai episode about this scene. Frankly, as compared to Sword Art Online: Alicization episode 10, I prefer the woman making a move on a male character. I am expecting many doujinshi to be made by now at least. It would be tragic if, assuming our evil Onee-san will eventually get stabbed, she was pregnant with Eugeo’s child. I haven’t watch Tokyo Ghoul anime yet but I wonder if they elaborated their H-scene; if they did then I feel Sword Art Online should’ve done the same.

With good reason. Nothing can beat the primal nuances of sex in storytelling.

It seems like the Dororo-Jojo-SAO trifecta is really trying to ruin me lately.

If Administrator didn’t trick Eugeo’s like that to say Remove Core Protection she’d have to chant commands for three days.”The ritual requires for the target to have their Fluctlight’s core protection to be removed, which can either be done with a simple core protection removal command that the target has to voluntarily chant (voluntary Synthesis), or requires special rituals that take 3 days of casting to forcefully disable the protection, but this is a time consuming approach due to the enormous amount of parameters that need to be set for the ritual (forced synthesis).[1] The ritual can only be used on targets that are at least within the caster’s line of sight or, preferably, ones that have physical contact with the caster.”

Is Remove Core Protection another term for unzipping pants?

  5. Kabble

The music playing while he’s just losing the battle was pretty tragic I loved it.That said the sex parallels…wow lol.Never trust anyone who tells you to remove protection on the first encounter.

  6. Slarkero

Gonna be real here, that was pretty hot.

Honestly, the Eugeo scene happened way too fast for me(no, not like that, ya pervs).I hope there was a lot more monologue on Eugeo’s part or a lot more to the mind-rape in the LN then a bunch of gates, because he gave in way too easily here. This is the woman that’s solely responsible for the crap rules he’s had to live with all his life and why Alice was taken away in the first place. He’s seen what she did to the Integrity Knights. He has no reason to trust anything she says, at all, so why should anything she has to say about his life matter. Yet all it took was her getting naked and promising her “love” for him to be her bitch?Come on, weak. Although I am curious as to what her “love” is going to be, cause I’d bet money it’s not going to be what he’s expecting. Or the whole thing was just a trap and she’s already made him forget she even promised him anything.

From what I recall there was also some mind-control or will-dampening. We see in the show Quinella screwing with Eugeo’s dreams and inserting visions in his head, so it stands to reason that there’s more to the story than the insecurities she’s digging into of his loneliness and losing the girl he loved and failed forever.

    Based SAO, doujins when?

  9. The Laughing Man

Eugeo chose a THOT over his friends and family what a disappointment

In SAO there are only whores.

What a great episode. Between Alice’s intense process of switching sides to Eugeo’s downfall i was enjoying every second of it. Some high grade fuel.

Parts of the dialogue between Eugeo and Administrator that were left out in the anime. Part of Eugeo was able to recognize the danger as such, but the gravitational pull of that delicate, pale fruit in the midst of the purple petals was so strong, in a mind so frayed by the earlier illusions, that he felt like he was sinking deeper into some sticky liquid.Youve never been loved in a way that truly satisfies you, Administrator had said. Now Eugeo himself was beginning to admit this was true. When he was younger, he really did love his parents, brothers, and friends without reservation. The sight of his mother delighted at the flowers he picked for her, and his father and brothers happily eating the fish he caught, filled young Eugeo with joy. He even went into the forest to find healing herbs when Zink the bully and his friends would get sick. But what did they do for you? After the love you showed them, what did they do for you? That. That was the part he couldnt remember.Again, Administrators gentle grin twisted, and a scene from his past flooded up to greet him.It was the spring of his tenth year, the day that all the children in the village were brought to the clearing so that the elder could assign their callings. He watched nervously as Elder Gasfut glanced down at him from the podium and announced a significant surprise: Carver of the Gigas Cedar.Still, some of the children around him made envious comments. The carver was a prestigious, hallowed position that had existed since the founding of Rulid, and while he wouldnt get a sword, hed at least get to swing a real ax. Eugeo wasnt disappointed at the time, by any means. He raced back home, clutching the parchment roll tied with a red ribbon, proud to show it off to his family. After the initial silence, it was the middle brother who spoke first. He clicked his tongue and complained that he thought it was going to be the day he didnt have to shovel the cow poop anymore. Then the eldest brother noted that this threw off their plan for the years planting. His father grunted and asked Eugeo when that job would end and whether he would have time for the fields after he got home. His mother disappeared into the kitchen, wary of their wrath. In the eight years since, Eugeos role at home had always been small. And yet, the earnings he made as carver went into Fathers care and eventually turned into more sheep and new tools for the farm. Meanwhile, Zink the apprentice man-at-arms got to spend all his salary on himself, feasting on white bread with thick slices of meat and showing off his fancy hobnailed boots and his sword with its smooth leather scabbard. Meanwhile, Eugeo drudged around on his worn-down shoes, with nothing but stale, leftover bread in his lunch sack. There, you see? Did the people you loved ever once do anything for you in return? Or did they actually take joy in your misery and mock you instead?Yesthats right. Two years after Alice was taken away by the Integrity Knight, in his eleventh summer, Eugeo remembered Zink telling him that now that the elders daughter was gone, there was no girl left in the village who would care for him. The look in his eyes made it clear that he thought Eugeo deserved it. Hed been best friends with Alice, the prettiest and most talented girl in the village, and Zink was delighted at his downfall.Ultimately, no one in Rulid ever repaid Eugeos sentiments. He had the right to receive what he offered in a fair exchange, but instead, he was denied that privilege. Then whats wrong with giving back some of that misery and frustration youve been feeling? Dont you want to? I bet it would feel good to become an Integrity Knight and fly back to your home in all your glory, riding that silver dragon. You can make all those people who humiliated you crawl around in the dirt so you can step on their heads with your shiny boots. Only then can you finally regain all thats been stolen from you. And thats not allIs that reallywhat love is about? Is it really like moneysomething with numerical value to be traded? He thought he heard a voice cry, Thats not true, Eugeo!and he turned to see a red-haired girl in a gray uniform lunging for him out of the darkness. The only reality for Eugeo by this point was the sweet, soft sensation that surrounded him in every way. Dully, as though it came from someone else, he heard himself croak, SystemCall.Thats rightNow continueRemove Core Protection. For the first time, he sensed her voice faltering and the presence of some kind of emotion. He mumbled the phrases first unfamiliar word.RemoveWhen he gave up and submitted to her orders, he felt his existence getting lighter and thinner. That hunger and thirst that had plagued him for so very, very long melted and vanished into the sweet nectar. But so, too, did some very important feelings hed held deep inside his heart. Was this reallythe best idea? The tiny little spark of doubt flamed up in his hollowing insides, but the next word was already tumbling out of his lips before he could answer his own question.CoreIm just tired of being sad. Tired of being in pain. There was no guarantee of love here. He would not find the love he was promised. And eveneven if Alice regained her memory, would she even care about him? Would she want the man whod violated the Taboo Index to attack Humbert and had fought against many Integrity Knights in open rebellion against the Church? Or would she fear and despise him?He would rather stop right here than have to face that outcome.Through the haze, Eugeo could vaguely sense that if he said the third word, his two-year journey would come to an irreversible end. But if doing so could allow him to forget his sad, painful pastand he could soak in this silver-haired girls lovea part of him was fine with that.Thats itnow come, Eugeo. Come into me, she whispered into his ear, the sweetest and most delectable of sounds. Welcome to eternal stasisAs he said the third and final word, a tear fell down Eugeos cheek.
