Bakuman. – 25 (END)

(Ari to Nashi)
"Yes and No"

That was amazing, simply freaking amazing. After what felt like the longest episode throughout its entire season run, Bakuman goes out with an amazing bang. For all of you manga readers out there, I cant believe how long it took for our duo to finally reach serialization!

Bakuman. – 24

(Denwa to Zenya)
"Call and Eve"

The buildup to the next weeks finale couldnt have been done better. In what I consider was an answer to my prayers, I was ecstatic that Koogys attempt to cheat out real mangakas failed. Not only did he get a horrible ranking, but I got a kick from watching him smash his guitar in disappointment.

Bakuman. – 23

(Kayou to Kinyou)
"Tuesday and Friday"

After a whole week of not watching Bakuman, I almost forgot what Takagi was talking about in the beginning. But as the memories started flooding back, I was excited to remember about how I wanted to watch how everyones manuscript would turn out.

Bakuman. – 22

(Tanketsu to Ketsuretsu)
"Solidarity and Breakdown"

Running off of the adrenaline built up from last week, I was ready for Team Fukuda to raise hell inside of Shounen Jump Jacks editing department. Unfortunately, it became a battle of who could yell the loudest. But can you imagine how cool it would have been if there was a manga styled argument or something instead of just regular yelling?!

Bakuman. – 21

(Bungaku to Ongaku)
"Literature and Music"

After nearly two whole minutes of recap, I was expecting this weeks episode to be a complete let down. But to my disbelief, the tension just kept rising higher and higher as the episode got better and better.

Bakuman. – 20

(Kyouryoku to Jyouken)
"Cooperation and Conditions"

Watching our dynamic duo start working together was fun, but the biggest draw this week had to be all the character character development combined with well timed fast forwards. To think, that just last week our duo were close to never being a duo again.

Bakuman. – 19

(Futari to Hitori)
"Together and Alone"

Im so overcome with emotion right now. I never expected that a single episode of Bakuman could turn out so amazing. You expect me to believe something that was able to wring out my emotions and throw me through loops is a mere shounen anime?

Bakuman. – 18

(Shitto to Ai)
"Jealousy and Love"

The one thing that sticks out about Bakuman is how it manages to always come back and give me shivers down the back of my spine. But the best part is how the show manages to instill those shivers without using blatant power-ups or crazy plot twists. Something about the story and how its slowly starting to all come together is just perfect.

Bakuman. – 16

(Kabe to Kisu)
"Wall and Kiss"

I didnt think Bakuman could have any significant plot twists. Since the beginning its been the same wash and rinse sequence of writing mangas and getting pretty close to winning, but never winning. While it didnt feel overused, I thought it was starting to feel a little old. Which is why I was surprised to see a huge cliffhanger right at the end of the episode.
