While the pacing felt a bit off and the story couldn't decide if it wanted to build our emotions or blow us away with awesome action scenes, I must say that I enjoyed this second episode a lot more than the first.

I don't think I've ever said this, but this was probably the first time I've felt a little let down from an anime adaptation after having read a little of the source material.
