If there's one thing this show can do week-in and week-out, it's the way it manages to surprise me in the strangest of ways.

I know we all probably saw it coming and it looks like the house of cards has finally started to crumble. The question is, can Hase and everyone around him pick up pieces and put it back together?

Based off of the comments in last week's post and the ominous looking preview, I was ready for this episode to be a doozy. What I wasn't ready for was the amount of emotions that swelled up in my chest right as the episode came to a close.

"Friends and the Beach"

With things rolling along at full speed, I'm both shocked and pissed with just how much teasing the writers did to us.

I'm really starting to enjoy how the show is slowly transitioning toward the romantic side of things. And even though I could probably do without Hase's "pureness" slowly destroying the perfect mental image I had of him, I suppose you can't just turn into Mr. Perfect overnight.

After a few slower episodes, Isshuukan Friends picks up the pace by hitting us with a double whammy of feels -- and on Mother's Day no less!

It's been quite a while since a new character like Saki has appeared and instantly turned me into a fan.

「友達とのけんか。」 (Tomodachito no Kenka.)
"Fighting With Friends."

It was only a matter of time but it seems that reality has finally hit our beloved characters. But when I say hit, I mean it in the nicest way possible.

"A Friend's Friend"

I'll be super honest, this week's episode left me scratching my head.
