This week's episode left me feeling a little confused. Confused in the sense that I never thought I'd build a somewhat negative opinion about Karen -- the most energetic and carefree character in the show.

「きになるあの子」 (Kininaru Aonoko)
"The Girl On My Mind"

I can't seem to put my finger on what it was, but this week's episode just felt so good. I mean, the previous episodes were good but this one was good.

They say you can't have your cake and eat it but up until today it always felt like Isami was living the high life.

I wouldn't mind more episodes like this -- a combination of a bunch of quirky but cute things that culminate into something that's just too damn entertaining.

Slice of life is probably at its finest when it tries to solve real life problems that seem to have no clear answer.
