I haven't placed much bearing on the production staff changes every episode in this series, but when hints of Satou Takuya's work in Seitokai no Ichizon came through, I instinctively took notice. With all the timely comedic transitions, back and forth bickering, and appearance of a new girl, this was easily the funniest episode thus far.

It's not often I can say I enjoy eating my own words, but after I poked fun at how this series was getting pretty random last episode, AIC comes back with an episode about orphans and the love square that develops.

Leave it up to Chise to use her Umenomori wealth to rip off the game of Jenga, add in a bunch of semi-erotic stipulations on the blocks (e.g. cosplay), and rename it Power Blocks for her personal enjoyment. Remember when this show was about the hardships of being an orphan and the love square that develops? Because I sure don't.

Unlike Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou this week, Mayoi Neko makes it clear they're straying from the norm with a Grand Braver super robot episode. If the gigantic robots weren't indicative enough, then the screams of "Gattai!" should help stress that notion.

One of the things that have impressed me with AIC's work in comedies as of late is their tendency to try and tie in every episode with those before it, which isn't something that one would normally expect from this genre.

I can't say I remember the last time I've seen an episode where every single character, guys and girls alike, were naked 90% of the time, but AIC sure knows how to bring the fan-service with this gag-filled one.
