「バスに乗れば唄心」 (Bus ni Noreba Utagokoro) "Get In the Bus, And It'll Get the Song In You"

I don't think I've watched a series where 90% through the story the characters decide they don't care anymore and instead want to sleep while the climax approaches.

「苦しい時の神様頼み」 (Kurushii Toki no Kamisama Tanomi) "Danger Past, Forgotten Past"

Kudos to Mayoiga for going against everyone's exceptions and just being utterly ridiculous until the bitter end.

「月下氷結」 (Gekka Hyouketsu) "Freezing in the Moonlight"

Getting locked in the attic with your dead grandma, a giant toy penguin on the loose, and a wood monster fresh from the desks of smug businessmen - Mayoiga is truly one of a kind.

「納鳴訪ねて真咲を疑う」 (Nanaki Tazunete Masaki wo Utagau) "Visit Nanaki Before Doubting Masaki"

That was certainly an episode of Mayoiga right there.

「鬼のいぬ間に悪だくみ」 (Oni no Inu Ma ni Warudakumi) "When the Cat's Away, the Mice Will Play Mischief"

While plenty of Mayoiga's episodes could be classed as "so bad it's good", this episode was great, plain and simple - it worked both as a compelling thriller and self-aware comedy.

「坊主の不道徳」 (Bozu no Fudoutoku) "The Monk's Immorality"

This week on Mayoiga: flashbacks, flashbacks, and more flashbacks!

「ユウナ3人いると紛らわしい」 (Yuuna 3 Nin Iru to Magirawashii) "Three Yuuna's Is a Crowd"

Perhaps it's better to just experience Mayoiga rather than actually think about it.

「よっつんの川流れ」 (Yottsun no Kawanagare) "Yottsun's Drowning"

It's impressive how this show balances seriousness with silliness.

「傍若無人」 (Boujakubujin) "Aloof"

This show is utterly ridiculous. God bless.
