First off, Happy Canada Day to all our Canadian readers and an early Happy Fourth of July to all our American ones. The summer season is upon us now, so it's time to give a quick overview of what the writers and I will be watching, and more importantly, what we'll be covering. As always, please note that this is a tentative schedule and shows may be shuffled around after the first week. Any changes will be noted on this post as they're made.

* Others: Appleseed XIII

Despite the horrific earthquake earlier this month, Japan's anime industry trudges along and doesn't miss its originally scheduled start date for the spring season. With the exception of Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, the rest of the winter shows will conclude by next week, ending with Yumekui Merry on Thursday. So with that in mind, it's time to give a quick overview of what will be covered on the site in the upcoming weeks.

* Others: SUPERNATURAL THE ANIMATION, Houkago no Pleiades

The start of the winter 2011 season is only days away, so here's the quick rundown on what me and the writers will be covering. As I mentioned in the Winter 2011 Preview, I'm reducing my personal load to about half of what it was last season by only picking up a couple more series -- Infinite Stratos and FRACTALE. To help compensate, both Kiiragi and Takaii have offered to pick up an additional series to cover, adding GOSICK and Kore wa Zombie Desu ka respectively to the ones they decided on in the preview. Prooof on the other hand is still too busy to pick up new shows, but will continue being the resident Bleach specialist like he's always been.

With the new fall season starting tomorrow, here's a quick overview of what the plans are blogging-wise. Please note that this schedule may change in the upcoming weeks, but will likely remain very close to what's listed here. As usual, I'll be watching much more than I'll be blogging, so Suzuku and Takaii have been brought in to help cover some other shows. Prooof is continuing on with Bleach and Nurarihyon no Mago like originally planned, whereas Kiiragi is going back to being the resident One Piece writer. If for some reason you haven't checked out the Fall 2010 Preview already, all links in the schedule will take you to the series' corresponding entry. I've added a lot of new promotional videos since the preview was originally published, so it's worth checking out again even if you have.

It's been a while since a blogging schedule has been created, but I wanted to give an overview of what the tentative plans are for the summer season starting tomorrow. I want to stress that this is tentative schedule and may change after the first week once I've had a chance to watch the first episode of every new series I expressed interest in in the Summer 2010 Preview.
