That was certainly a rush to the finish line.

This has been the part of the manga that I’ve been most looking forward to getting adapted, and I wasn’t sure we were going to get to it when it was announced that Yamada-kun would only be 12 episodes; yet here we are, rushed as it may have been.

「必ず未来を変えて」 (Kanarazu Mirai wo Kaete) "I'll Definitely Change the Future"

A confession of love, and a promise to change the future. How romantic.

「超ウザイんだけど」 (Chou Uzai Ndakedo) "You're So Annoying"

Last week we had visions of the future, this week it's visions of the past.

「天ぷらだけはやめてくれぇ！」 (Tenpura dake wa yamete kure ~e!) "Anything but Tempura!"

This episode was filled with all the things that make Yamada-kun so enjoyable: plenty of kisses, a nice dose of witch drama, some seriously funny moments and reaction shots, and even more scenes of the best pairing of the season.

「応答せよっ！」 (Oto Seyo!) "Respond!"

The Witch-of-the-Week storyline is now underway. Three down, four to go.

「キスしちゃダメよ？」 (Kisu Shicha Dame yo?) "You Mustn't Kiss Her, Okay?"

After five episodes, we’re finally getting to the bottom of the mystery surrounding the Seven Witches of Suzaku High School.

「山田のことが好きになったみたい！」 (Yamada no koto ga suki ni natta mitai!) "It Looks Like I've Fallen For Yamada!"

We're swapping body-swap kissing for attraction kissing this week, which means that everyone must fall in love with Yamada at some point.

「受ける？それとも受けない？」 (Ukeru? Soretomo Ukenai?) "Will You Accept? Or Won't You?"

Shiraishi likes Yamada, and Yamada likes Microwaves.
