Every episode of Yuri Kuma Arashi manages to flip my opinion on Ginko. At first I didn’t think much of her, then I found her funny, then likeable, then unlikeable, and now we get this fantastic episode focusing on the love of her life, and how it made her who she is.

So it turns out Ginko was a criminal bear after all.

The past and present intertwine as everything starts to become clearer. There’s still mystery in the air, but it all makes sense now.

It’s a bear-eat-salmon world.

More Sumika flashbacks, some storybook art, and a test of friendship makes for a strong halfway point in Yuri Kuma Arashi's bizarre love story.
